I have to highlight this, posted by The Star, such pointless mistake, ending in tragedies. You could have read similar heartbreaking incidences involving running over own children. A nightmare to anybody. Please, please… avoid this kind of tragedy! Nauzubillah hi min zalik.
Woman runs over hubby at home
KOTA TINGGI: A woman accidentally killed her husband when she ran over him in their driveway while trying to reverse her car.
The 49-year-old woman was about to reverse when she accidentally put the gear into drive mode and pressed the accelerator pedal.
The car lurched forward, hitting her husband, Md Ali Hassan, 52, who had been standing in front of the vehicle.
The incident happened at around 9am on Sunday at the couple’s home in Taman Sri Saujana.
Md Ali sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Sultan Ismail Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries at 4.20pm the same day.
Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Osman Mohamed Sebot said police have ruled out foul play.
